Oliver Schneider-Sikorsky is a partner at the specialist firm BCL Solicitors. He defends his clients against charges relating to business, regulatory and general crime.

With his high-profile and HNW clientele, Schneider-Sikorsky has more issues to consider than the criminal charge itself, including the effect on their reputation and their business. He tells Spear’s: ‘I tend to act as a general counsel for all affairs arising out of criminal charges. Particularly with high-profile clients, for example in cases of historical sexual abuse, all aspects of their lives come under scrutiny.

‘In the core of my practice, in reputation management, I tend to take the reins rather than farm it out,’ he says. Schneider-Sikorsky’s practice is split between high-profile general criminal litigation and white-collar cases conducted by the Serious Fraud Office and other regulators.
