Jérôme Lambert

Spear’s Review

Jérôme Lambert was the group CEO of Richemont, which owns maisons such as Cartier, Dunhill and Montblanc, between 2018 and mid-2024, when the company reshuffled its corporate and brand leadership. Since June 2024, he has served as group chief operating officer, providing operational support to new CEO Nicolas Bos.

An alumnus at the ESG Management School (now Paris School of Business) and the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration, Lambert was previously responsible for the finances of Switzerland’s public postal and telecommunications service. He joined Richemont maison Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1996 and has since held leadership roles across other firms in the group, including Montblanc and A. Lange & Söhne.

Lambert’s leadership has been crucial in propelling the group’s collection of maisons into the future of luxury retail: Richemont’s Enquirus database, for example, brings together the skills of industry experts, law enforcement agencies, insurers, manufacturers and private individuals to reduce watch and jewellery theft and authenticate secondhand sales.

He remains a member of the luxury goods company’s senior executive committee.
