The thorough programme of tests carried out at the Lumen clinic in Harley Street is designed to detect problems that might indicate future risks, such as heart disease or the very early stages of conditions such as common cancers, so they can be treated as non-invasively as possible.

Dr Garry Savin, an experienced GP who previously worked at Preventicum, leads the team of dedicated nurses, cardiologists, radiographers and MRI scanning technicians at Lumen who perform the wide range of assessments on offer. Savin or one of his colleagues then discusses results with each patient, to make sure all of the data is fully understood.

Should a problem or condition be detected, the Lumen doctors can make suggestions for lifestyle changes, refer directly to a specialist or pass their findings on to the patient’s own doctor for further treatment.
