Paul Lunt, a commercial litigator and sports lawyer by occupation, is head of litigation at Brabners, working from the firm’s Liverpool office and representing many high-profile sportspeople in northern England.

He made headlines for his expertise in reputation law when he represented Coleen Rooney in the libel case brought against her by Rebekah Vardy (the Wagatha Christie case). Lunt has also represented a host of sporting professionals including footballer Wayne Rooney, former cricketer Michael Vaughan and England cricket captain Ben Stokes, the latter of which involved a complex case relating to a breach of privacy.

He was awarded Reputation Lawyer of the Year at the 2022 Spear’s Awards.
