Spear’s Review
A relatively new British international school in Saudi Arabia (it opened in 2022), Reigate Grammar School Riyadh offers a values-driven, academically rigourous education for Saudi Arabian and international students alike.
With a focus on developing global citizens of the future, the school incorporates interdisciplinary
learning, forward-thinking technologies and leadership opportunities in its teaching. There are two campuses, the prep school’s Qurtobah campus and the senior school’s Ghirnatah campus, and facilities include a large indoor swimming pool, a Montessori play area for younger pupils, advanced technology labs and a full-sized football pitch.
RGS Riyadh follows the UK curriculum, with students working towards IGCSEs and A-Levels. From August 2026, pupils will be able to start studying for the IB careers-related programme.
