Spear’s Review
Wycombe Abbey established its first international school in Changzhou in 2016. Taking the best from the UK and the Chinese curriculums, the school offers pupils a bilingual education, (I)GCSE and A-Level lessons and, ultimately, access to top universities around the world.
Learning continues beyond the classroom via sports, music, arts and drama courses, while the ‘super curriculum’ programme offers opportunities such as overseas trips, school exchanges and academic competitions. The school embraces Asian tradition too: there is a break for Lunar New Year in February and a dragon boat festival in June.
The newly renovated campus offers students a huge array of facilities, from a fully equipped theatre to a 10,000sq m sports dome and dedicated rowing centre.
