Spear’s Review

Le Régent International School, located at 1,500m in the Swiss Alps, offers stunning views over mountains and valleys. And while it may be tempting for students to daydream out of the classrooms’ floor-to-ceiling windows, they are kept thoroughly occupied with a broad and blended curriculum that emphases languages, creative thinking and future-readiness.

Le Régent, a sister school of Le Rosey, is a relatively recent addition to the Swiss education landscape, having been founded in 2015, but it has the benefit of modernity, boasting world-class teaching spaces and labs. In addition, as an Apple affiliated school, Le Régent students are provided with top-of-the-range school equipment specifically designed to cater to their educational needs.

Younger students follow the International Early Years and International Middle Years curriculum, while senior students prepare for the IB or the school’s high school diploma. Outside of the classroom, students are able to enjoy hiking, skiing, golfing and access to world travel – all with the added benefit of 300 days of sunshine a year.
