Spear’s Review

Aloha College Marbella is a not-for-profit educational foundation in the heart of Málaga, Spain. It offers the UK national curriculum, the international primary curriculum, IGCSEs, the IB diploma and international A-Levels. Students can also receive qualifications under the Spanish system.

As well as excellent sports facilities, the secondary school has six science labs and two IT labs. Believing that premium pastoral care is the key to unlocking young minds, creatives are well catered to at Aloha College, with three art studios, music lessons and a theatre. Exchange programmes to America, the UK, Australia and Europe are available to students.

As a certified ‘eco-school’, Aloha College has integrated sustainability into its teaching and management model. With more than 50 nationalities represented among the students, the college’s core values are honesty, respect, effort, care and resilience.

Academics

In 2025:

  • 44 per cent of IGCSE results were grades 7-9
  • 50 per cent of A-Level results were A* or A
  • Average IB score was 35.3

University and college destinations

Aloha College Marbella graduates move on to leading universities worldwide. According to the school, 25 per cent of the 2024 graduating class went on to study in the UK, with others accepting offers in Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the US.

Admissions

To begin the application process, prospective parents should fill in an enquiry form on the school’s website. They can then submit relevant documentation and arrange a visit to the school. Depending on year of entry, students are also required to take a placement test, submit references and attend an interview.
