Spear’s Review
The International School of Geneva (Ecolint) is a co-educational school for pupils aged 3–18 with three campuses: Campus des Nations, La Châtaigneraie and La Grande Boissière. Built upon international, humanitarian and academically rigorous values, students of Ecolint receive a holistic education.
Ecolint was the world’s first international school and has a relatively large student body, with around 4,500 pupils in total. Students come from over 143 different countries and are attracted by the impressively diverse educational pathways on offer. Younger students follow the IB primary years and middle years programmes, or the UNESCO-backed universal learning programme. Secondary school students can study towards IGCSEs, the IB diploma programme, which was invented by the school, the IB career-related programme or the Maturité Suisse.
Beyond the classroom the school offers a range of sporting, performing arts and cultural activities, as well as a programme tailored to elite athletes.
