Angelina Giovani-Agha

Spear’s Review

Angelina Giovani-Agha is an art historian and provenance researcher. Experienced in advising on matters related to ethical collecting, due diligence, restitution, good title and provenance gaps, she is highly regarded as a trusted expert. Consequently, she works with a range of clients, including museums, private collectors, family offices, art dealers, educational institutions and art restitution projects.

Alongside her role as co-founder and partner at Flynn & Giovani, she also serves as a provenance expert at the Court of Arbitration for Art.

In 2022, she introduced the Collections Provenance Rating, a tool designed to evaluate the quality of documentation for art collections and provide recommendations based on the identified risk level.
