ATS Bullion traces its roots to Spink & Son, the historic London coin dealer founded in 1666. When Christie’s sold Spink & Son in 2002, its bullion and modern coin business was spun out as an independent company, taking the name ATS Bullion – short for Alfred Terry Spink. The firm initially continued trading from Spink & Son’s Southampton Row premises before moving in 2006 to Savoy Court, beside the Strand and the Savoy Hotel, where it remains today.

The company buys and sells investment-grade gold and silver, specialising in coins as well as bars from refiners on the London Bullion Market Association’s ‘good delivery’ list, the benchmark for internationally traded bullion bars.

Still family-owned, ATS Bullion has been a member of the British Numismatic Trade Association since its creation in 2002, combining the traditions of an old London coin house with the business of modern precious metals investment.
