Spear’s Review

Co-Impact is a global philanthropic collaborative founded by Olivia Leland in 2017, designed to connect funders with organisations driving meaningful change on the ground. Unlike traditional giving, which often focuses on isolated projects, Co-Impact prioritises ‘systems change’: tackling the policies, governance structures and economic frameworks that determine whether social progress is successful in the long term.

By uniting donors, governments and local organisations, it enables large-scale, sustainable impact across sectors including health, education and gender equity. Initiatives range from building national networks of female leaders in Indonesia to supporting grassroots movements that influence tens of thousands of lives.

Its donors include MacKenzie Scott, the Gates Foundation, Cartier Philanthropy and the Rockefeller Foundation, reflecting a collaborative approach to philanthropy on a truly global scale.
