Dan Pearson was appointed OBE in 2022 for services to horticulture and in 2025, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers.

His garden design practice, established in 1987, comprises a small team of designers and landscape architects who work together to ‘create landscapes and gardens of aesthetic sophistication and emotional resonance’, the firm says. Projects span small, urban courtyards and private gardens, urban landscapes, rural estates, public parks and resorts, and therapeutic, healing and educational gardens.

Ecological and sustainable design principles are paramount, with each site-specific work adapted to its environment.
