With its origins stretching back to 1792, Charles Stanley is one of the oldest companies on the London Stock Exchange. The wealth and investment manager has around £24 billion in funds under management (as of 2025) and 26 offices across the UK. 

The firm provides bespoke investment portfolios and tailored financial advice to HNW individuals, charities, institutions and professional advisers, blending old-school charm with an acute understanding of changing currents in the industry.

In 2022, US firm Raymond James acquired Charles Stanley. Raymond James Wealth Management, the newly created business that comprises Charles Stanley and Raymond James Investment Services, has combined assets under management and administration of £50.7 billion as of end-December 2025.
