Dr Tamsin Lewis’s company, Wellgevity, is focused on longevity: ‘Longevity as a symptom of improved health,’ she tells Spear’s.

New patients are treated to a full spectrum of tests, including blood tests for 130 biomarkers, a gut health assessment, a full-body scan, a cardiovascular assessment, a hormone evaluation and posture analysis, among other examinations. A 90-minute appointment for a consultation with a doctor results in a health programme that might include referrals to specialists, tailored supplements, and diet and exercise regimes.

‘Dr Tam’, as she is known by her patients, also works as a freelance longevity consultant. Her interest in personalised health stems from athleticism: Lewis won the Ironman triathlon competition in 2014, having taken a break from medicine for sport. Returning to her practice, she developed a specialist service ‘for health-focused people rather than athletics-focused people’.
