Investigations, enquiries and disclosures 

The last few years have seen a significant increase in the number of HMRC investigations and enquiries into personal tax affairs. HMRC has wide-ranging powers to obtain information from third parties, including those overseas, which it compares to information disclosed on tax returns. Our tax team has extensive experience dealing with these requests on behalf of clients and returning favourable results.
