Gareth Allen’s Big House Experience has curated a selection of truly exceptional houses for short stays for a clientele of wealthy families and couples.

Working alongside his wife, Claire, Allen looks for luxurious getaways with a ‘wow’ factor, only featuring homes they’d be ‘genuinely excited about staying in ourselves’. With a selection of charming cottages, stately homes and castles across the UK — recent homes on offer include High Peak Manor in Derbyshire and Wyatt Castle in Dorset — the company has picked sites where groups of around 20 to 30 can visit for weekend breaks.
