LCP Private Office
LCP/Private Office was established in 1989 by founder and entrepreneur, Naomi Heaton. While forging a highly successful career in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi, she caught the ‘property bug’ buying and renovating property in prime central London (PCL). Heaton recognised the need for an end-to-end service offering investors independent expert advice on property investment decisions. This gave rise to LCP/Private Office, probably the first residential agency in the UK acting in the interests of the buyer, in a market then dominated by estate agents.
As well as being a great place to live, work and study, PCL is a safe haven asset class. While a spate of new taxes, uncertainty in the build up to Brexit and an unprecedented global pandemic have all suppressed the market, LCP/Private Office’s view remains that scarcity of stock, coupled with global demand and increased geopolitical volatility, will support long-term price growth, withstanding cyclical downturns.
LCP/Private Office helps investors make the most of this unique market, providing superior access to buying opportunities as well as hands-on project management and creative design solutions, to suit all tastes and budgets. Using sophisticated financial modelling, LCP/Private Office will identify the best properties and secure them at the most competitive price, followed up with an efficient letting & management service for landlords so they can enjoy a seamless, hands-off investment. With strong international links, particularly in Asia and the Gulf, LCP/Private Office has over $1.5/£1 billion of clients’ assets under management.
With a history of innovation, LCP/Private Office partnered up with a world-renowned Dutch-based pension fund in 2019 to acquire Harrington Hall Hotel in South Kensington, and more recently the Wellington Block in Covent Garden. These will be the cornerstone of a flexible stay, lifestyle hotel brand offering apartment style living in the centre of London. With Heaton spearheading this new initiative, Andrew Weir has been appointed the new CEO of LCP/Private Office, with over 30 years of sales and lettings experience in PCL as head of Foxtons. LCP/Private Office is now planning a programme of business expansion, building on its diverse expertise in the marketplace, while remaining true to its core values of client service.
