David Knowles founded Artelier to bring together contemporary artists with ‘exclusive corporate clients’ and private art collectors to create striking projects.

As well as supporting emerging artists – he previously curated projects and galleries in association with Arts Council England to spotlight young talent – Knowles has a strong business nous and understands the needs of a wealthy clientele, creating spaces for super-prime residential developments (One Hyde Park, One Palm, Rosewood, St Regis) and the interiors of ‘over 20’ superyachts. Knowles has a master’s degree in fine art and guest lectures at a host of European institutions.

His firm also assists with large-scale art installations and works with corporates and private individuals to finesse their art collections.
