My life is defined by a passion for whisky, and I am honoured to share this love globally. As a proud Scotsman, I cofounded a Whisky Society and established World Whisky Day at 21. Since then, whisky has become my life's work, with over 16 years of industry experience. 

I delight in revealing the complexities and joys of whisky to enthusiasts and novices alike. Known for my innovative approach, I have hosted bespoke tastings worldwide, introducing the joys of whisky to Royals, Ambassadors, and discerning clients. As a whisky industry commentator, I have featured in documentary films, TEDx talks, and on podcasts and radio. My insights appear monthly in Scottish Field magazine, and I am the author of the bestselling Pocket Guide to Whisky: Featuring the WhiskyTubeMap.
