Emily Todhunter

Spear’s Review

A bright and buzzy studio in Chelsea is home to Todhunter Earle, a defining figure in modern British interior design for almost four decades.

Emily Todhunter founded the practice in 1988 and was joined by Kate Earle 10 years later. The two designers maintain their own teams but are united by a sense of style.

Homes across some of the best areas of London – Belgravia, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Kensington and Notting Hill – have benefited from Todhunter Earle’s eye for simplicity and harmony. The studio’s designs can also be found in UK country estates, as well as in ski chalets, yachts and sunny villas further afield.

The firm is a frequent feature in magazines such as Country Life, House & Garden and Homes & Gardens.
