Edward Simmons is a managing director in Blackstone’s private wealth solutions group and head of the European private capital practice at the firm. Here he oversees Blackstone’s relationships with European family offices and private investors, sourcing investment opportunities and providing solutions for large pools of private capital.

Before moving to London, Simmons worked for Blackstone in New York, where he played a role in launching the firm’s private wealth group. He joined the private equity giant in 2008 as a research analyst.

Before this Simmons held roles at General Electric and AllianceBernstein, where he advised family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foundations and endowments on investment strategies and portfolio construction.
