AFP Bloom partner William Healing is no stranger to multi-jurisdictional disputes: he is particularly well known for his expertise in Anglo-French affairs. The range of nuptial agreements he works on often involve assets above £100 million.

Healing has over 20 years’ experience in family law and is a trained mediator. In his career he has dealt with ‘cases raising significant points of law’, the firm says.

Healing is also active in the industry, both as a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and as vice president of the European chapter.

William is a bilingual French speaker and a dual Franco-British national. He is widely recognised by barristers and solicitors, and French lawyers, as having the leading Anglo-French practice in London in divorce and family law.

William advises on international divorces and children matters where there is often a jurisdiction dispute or where other cross-border issues arise involving family members, assets or children. Sensitive early advice needs to be given in these cases. He frequently advises on high-value pre-nuptial agreements.
