Matthew Smith, a highly experienced tutor in English language and literature, and an educational consultant, is owner and founder of Griffin and Bell Education.

Griffin and Bell has succeeded in shepherding students through exams for many of the top schools in London and the UK, including Westminster, St Paul’s Girls and Boys and King’s College. 

Matthew read English Literature at Christ Church College, Oxford, and is a published and prize-winning poet and novelist. He works closely with Griffin and Bell’s tutees to give them the support necessary to thrive, either complementing school teaching or providing an outlet for prodigiously talented students who find that class lessons are not meeting their individual needs.
