‘Our work at its core remains working alongside individuals who want to do good,’ said Boncerto CEO Peter Cafferkey. He set up the charity consultancy in 2015, focusing on entrepreneurs in the philanthropic space.

Over time, Boncerto has evolved from a sort of translation service – connecting and supporting wealthy individuals, multinationals, wealth managers, NGOs, start-ups and not-for profits in different areas of giving – to a storytelling organisation. He said, ‘It’s all about telling your story ... it’s almost your legacy piece.’

‘Our client priorities remain varied, but their interest is growing in seeing new ways to achieve them outside of the old traditional “charity” model … they are asking for more creative solutions,’ he said. ‘We are starting to see more people looking at their whole lives in terms of the legacy – in which philanthropy plays a part.’
