A seasoned wealth adviser to an array of HNWs, Paul Denman joined Close Brothers in 2019 after nearly 15 years as a private banking director at Arbuthnot Latham, where he established a family office team. 

Denman is known for his dual strength in fostering fresh client relationships and nurturing existing ones. ‘I love that feeling when you’ve done a good job,’ he says.

At Arbuthnot’s, looking after motorsport clients was a labour of love for Denman; he owns a fleet of classic cars and has a racing licence. ‘It started with us looking after people who race historical Grand Prix cars, and then we started to take in professional racing drivers, dealers and people in the motorsports media,’ he says.
