Dean & Waters founder Nicholas Dean has more than 40 years of experience in the yachting industry, helping HNW clients with yacht management as well as refits and new-build projects. He previously built up the prominent sales and charter firm Ocean Independence, starting the business in 2005 and selling his shareholdings in 2022.

Dean’s affinity for marine life and sailing stretches back into his early years: he completed his first yacht sale at the age of 20 and is now well-versed in helping yacht owners and renters with the full gamut of management issues, including tax and legal implications. 

The affable yacht broker aims to ‘safeguard’ both the investment his clients put into their purchases and the enjoyment of their ships.
