Lucy Cawkwell, who began tutoring during her gap year in 1992, has more than 30 years of experience working with young people of all ages, nationalities and abilities across a range of subjects – from maths and science to English, French and geography. 

Frustrated with the agencies she was working with, Cawkwell set up her own company in 2000 with an aim ‘to provide a discreet, personal service in an industry that’s rapidly becoming overcrowded and reliant on automated online systems’. 

The team at Osborne Cawkwell Tuition – now numbering around 150 expert private tutors – includes a special needs consultant and a mental health adviser, and offer private tuition and home schooling to students from all backgrounds.
