Hewlett started her own firm, Louise Hewlett Property Consultants, in 2014, and it is the epitome of the sophisticated boutique. ‘A lot of my clients prefer to work with smaller independent specialists, who can dedicate a level of personal attention that might not be possible within a large corporation,’ she said. 

Hewlett believes the rise of the internet means specialist boutique agencies are more important than ever. ‘Buying or selling a home is the most important transaction in anyone’s life, and you will want an experienced person dedicated to look after your interests,’ she said. ‘That is the principal element of my business.’
