Inês Santiago is the director of Clinic Les Alpes, a state-of-the-art clinic situated in a breathtakingly beautiful and naturally therapeutic environment in the mountains above Montreux, Switzerland, an hour from Geneva airport.

Adviser Profile

Inês Santiago has been involved with the development of Clinic Les Alpes since its inception. She has a masters degree in economics and also studied health management at Lausanne University, where she focused on management and the health sector. Santiago also studied the relationship between drugs and addiction at King’s College London. 

Clinic Les Alpes is a fully licensed, inpatient medical facility, specialising in the treatment of substance abuse (including alcohol, drugs and medication), behavioural addiction (such as gambling, sex, pornography, co-dependency and kleptomania), eating disorders and various mental health issues (such as trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, stress and OCD).

At the Clinic an extensive team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, therapists and full hospitality personnel work around the clock to provide tailor-made treatments and to ensure their patients’ journey to recovery is as safe and as pleasant as it can be.

Upon admission, each patient goes through a medical health check and micro nutritional profiling. Clinic Les Alpes can provide complete detoxification in house, with constant monitoring from its highly experienced medical and nursing teams.

The facility also caters to families by providing counselling sessions with a family therapist and/or by offering a residential programme designed to help and build a supportive environment for the patient and their loved ones.

Clinic Les Alpes has created 27 private and very comfortable bedrooms. All have glorious uninterrupted views across mountains, meadows, forests and the lake.

The normal length of stay in this facility is 28 days, although this may vary based on the treatment plan prescribed.
