Gray & Farrar was established by Virginia Sweetingham, Claire’s mother, as an independent family business in 2005, and the family remains at the helm, sharing over 40 years’ experience in the matchmaking sphere. The team don’t use apps, data matches or algorithms, avoiding impersonality and the questionable security of internet dating. 

The company has decades of expertise in putting the right people together, and interviews every client personally – often at their Mayfair offices – before accepting them. Its clients are truly cosmopolitan, hailing from major cities around the world.
