When Princess Haya of Jordan and her solicitor Fiona Shackleton went up against Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum in the High Court, Charles Geekie KC of 1GC was the silk they turned to. 

Geekie, a leading counsel since 2006, is known for his excellence in children matters. Regularly instructing on cases where claims have been made relating to sexual and emotional abuse, fabricated illness and serious illness, Geekie is a bonafide expert in the field. 

Until 2022, he sat as a Deputy High Court Judge and continues to serves as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Association of Lawyers for Children. He has recently been admitted to the Cayman Islands Bar as an attorney-at-law.
