Annabelle Gauberti founded Crefovi in 2012 with the aim to become a one-stop-shop law firm focused on advising the creative industries.

As well as performers, musicians and HNWs, Crefovi represents artists’ estates, foundations, galleries, collectors and museums in a range of disputes and transactions surrounding family, reputation, copyright, provenance and purchase and sale.

Gauberti explains to Spear’s that this area of law can be challenging, especially when clients have a considerable public profile, meaning that cases have to be handled with the utmost discretion. ‘High-net-worth individuals need services from law firms who are nimble, efficient, lean and mean, and who just get the job done,’ she says. ‘We strive to employ our resources and use our time and energy in a way which is the most efficient and most results-orientated for our clients.’
