After leaving Eton College – where he was awarded a King’s Scholarship – Alex Sever went on to study at the University of Oxford before returning to his alma mater as the school’s Oxbridge entrance teacher. After that he became a mathematics tutor at Wellington College and head of science for a special educational needs school in London.
