The strongest growth for Weatherbys Hamilton continues to be seen in the private client space, with an increased stream of referrals from solicitors, buying agents and land agents. Alec Moore’s mainly HNW clientele trust the firm’s insurance solutions because of its independence, he tells Spear’s.

‘In a market where many of our competitors are answerable to shareholders, being independent enables us to maintain our focus on delivering a great service for our clients and with insurance solutions tailored for the individual, rather than the one-size-fits-all approach used by others,’ says Moore, who has been joint CEO of the firm since 2022. ‘We try to make ourselves available whenever and wherever they want.’

Moore is based in the firm’s Newmarket office; given its location, it is suited to work with the racing industry while also serving clients throughout the country.
