Adam Buxton is an independent buying agent who specialises in sourcing prime country property in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and further afield. 

In 2020, Buxton left Middleton Advisors to set up his own firm, Buxton Property Consultancy. He tells Spear’s that working on his own and being based in the Cotswolds enables him to establish quality relationships with his clients. ‘A lot of my clients become my great friends,’ he says. 

‘I don’t have an assistant, so I’m doing everything on my own. Clients know when they appoint me, they will get me from start to finish, so there’s no handing down. Building trust is key; they know they can turn to me for every question, which I think is really important.’
