Tom Vernon is a partner and head of private clients at Sarasin & Partners, taking over the role from Jamie Black in 2025.
Vernon joined the investment manager 20 years ago after graduating from university. He tells Spear’s that he has remained at the firm because of the ‘people and culture – we gel very well as a team’.
He works with a broad range of UHNW private clients, family offices and corporates, advising on asset management and investment opportunities.
Sarasin & Partners takes a long-term, thematic approach to building portfolios, and Vernon upholds this commitment to growing and protecting his clients’ wealth. ‘One area we’ve had a lot of success in the last few years is our work with IFAs and providing model portfolio services; it’s grown phenomenally,’ he says.
