Giles Barrett is a director and co-head of sales at prime central London property brokerage Domus Nova.
Founded in 2002 in Notting Hill, Domus Nova has since expanded to also serve the neighbourhoods of Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge and prime locations along the Thames – as well as, most recently, Ibiza.
‘The common denominator is we only sell properties that are architecturally interesting’ and that have ‘strong interiors’, Barrett tells Spear’s. ‘[Our approach is] very much design-led rather than price-led.’ For his clientele, he explains, a home’s design and interiors are often just as important as size and location.
Barrett has operated in the London market since 2001; this includes roles at Knight Frank, March & Parsons and Hamptons International.
