John Annetts is head of the wealth and succession team at Howard Kennedy, where he advises HNW and UHNW clients on estate and succession planning, inheritance and capital gains tax, asset protection and wealth structuring. He works with entrepreneurs, business owners, property investors and clients in the arts and entertainment sectors, often guiding complex, multi-jurisdictional estates.

Advising on estates valued between £5 million and £350 million, Annetts helps clients preserve family wealth and safeguard legacies. His work includes preparing intricate wills, establishing trusts and family investment companies, and managing post-death planning through deeds of variation or restructuring assets.

He also advises trustees and beneficiaries on trust administration and liaises with the Office of the Public Guardian on lasting powers of attorney.
