Spear’s Review
Odumade Odutola is a director at KKR, where he is responsible for capital raising across the UK, Northern Europe and the Middle East. In this role, he partners with wealth managers at leading private banks, providing their clients with access to KKR’s private market investment solutions.
In the past, he notes, ‘the barriers of entry into private equity were really high’. Together with his team, he’s worked to ‘simplify’ the process and give private wealth clients ‘a diversified access point’.
The firm manages $260 billion in AuM and covers the full spectrum of private markets, including private equity, infrastructure, credit and real estate funds.
‘Right now, the product that is really growing in penetration in the private wealth space is our private equity proposition,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘Essentially, it’s an evergreen structure that captures a slice of every institutional deal KKR does.’
