New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) positions itself as something between a think tank and a consultancy with purpose, according to director Alex Hayes.

‘We offer an end-to-end service for philanthropists, from setting up their giving strategy through to spending that money,’ Hayes tells Spear’s. ‘We are the ones who are going to help you distribute [funds] and ensure that you make the most impact.’ For Hayes, this means building relationships with funders and impact investors, as well as acting as an on-the-gound adviser to family foundations to meet their needs.

NPC has a strong focus on philanthropy thought leadership, and the firm frequently produces reports on charitable giving best practice. It also offers insight and expertise to philanthropists and foundations via collaborative projects and events.
