Fuchsia Voremberg
Spear’s Review
Fuchsia Voremberg began her journey at Maggs Bros. in 2012 as an apprentice; a little over 12 years later, she serves as managing director of the rare books dealer.
‘I couldn’t imagine anyone better qualified for the job,’ Ed Maggs, the shop’s chairman and member of the Maggs family, remarked upon her appointment.
The 172-year-old antiquarian bookseller attracts a client base of collectors, enthusiasts, admirers and investors, offering an equally wide range of rare tomes – from travel (Voremberg’s particular specialism), economics and social history books, to early literature, science fiction and beloved classics. These include rare presses, first editions and intriguing prints and photographs.
Valued for her academic insight, Voremberg has also appeared on a number of episodes of BBC’s Antiques Roadshow.
