Jeremy Morrison
Spear’s Review
Jeremy Morrison of Morrison Modern Advisory describes himself as an ‘art adviser for design.’
This means that he deals with antiques, lighting, design furniture and works of art from the 1880s onwards, helping clients to furnish their homes, source statement pieces, value their works or build a collection. He also works with interior designers in furnishing a client’s home. Over the years, Morrison has facilitated the transactions of incredible pieces which have been valued into the hundreds of thousands, and even millions of pounds.
Morrison’s client base is varied in age, industry and location, yet what unites them all is their desire to enjoy pieces in their homes. He tells Spear’s: ‘These are not [pieces] that are going to go into a warehouse; clients very much want to be able to live with things, incorporate them into their lives, enjoy them like they would with their art, but also buy and sell with the same rigour that they apply to their art purchases to maximise investment potential and minimise risks.’
