Joanna Dimmock joined Dentons in early 2025 to head up its corporate crime practice.

Drawing on more than two decades of experience working with UHNW individuals and corporate clients accused of serious financial crime, Dimmock has a wealth of experience in cross-border financial and regulatory investigations. She has advised key figures in some of the most high-profile cases in recent years and is familiar with handling politically sensitive cases and those which expose clients to reputational damage.

‘High-net-worth investigations are certainly my bread and butter,’ she tells Spear’s. ‘I thrive in the adrenaline rush of managing a complex strategy.’

Prior to her work at Dentons, she helped set up and expand the white-collar crime practice at the boutique firm Peters and Peters, and held roles at White & Case and Paul Hastings.
