Emma Sims-Hilditch worked in the film industry before founding her own interior design firm, Sims Hilditch, in 2009.
Now, she employs over 30 designers and directors who work from a Grade II-listed former pub in the Cotswolds, surrounded by orchards, beehives and vegetable patches. ‘I firmly believe that in order to have a really creative design studio, it’s important to be surrounded by beauty,’ Sims-Hilditch tells Spear’s.
Certainly, Sims-Hilditch and her team have created some breathtaking spaces, including in an apartment at The OWO Residences by Raffles in London, Swiss chalets, Surrey and Cotswolds estates and Scottish retreats.
The design ethos of Sims Hilditch is not fixed but is very much inspired by its founder’s travels, including to the US east coast and Europe, and the ‘true, traditional British countryside’.
