During his career in wealth management, Priyank Lakhia noticed that UHNW Indian and British Asian clients lacked a trusted adviser when it came to their property and assets in London.

To address this issue, he set up 5Bay Group in 2018 with the intention of ‘representing families who weren’t getting the right advice’, Lakhia tells Spear’s. The boutique agency specialises in large primary and secondary homes in London’s Zone 1. 

A unique selling point for 5Bay is its services beyond just buying and selling: Lakhia has built a network of connections, from tax advisers to interior designers, that he can connect his clients with.

This ‘ecosystem’ helps build a community for those who work with the firm, leading to more opportunities. He explains, ‘My whole business is on referral; we get a lot of referrals after we’ve completed a transaction.’
