Based in Hong Kong, Charles Lankester has headed up Ruder Finn Asia’s reputation and risk-management practice for more than half a decade; he is also managing director for Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

He focuses on global reputation matters and ‘high-risk client situations’. Clients include a prominent Chinese media organisation and an international family office facing an aggressive PR attack in the Asia-Pacific region, while his remit includes handling data breaches, responding to blackmail threats and regulatory challenges.

Lankester’s career has included successful leadership roles at Edelman, Ogilvy and Weber Shandwick, while he has built up and sold two other successful ventures. An analytical and intelligence-based approach allows Lankester’s globally minded team to quell crises at early stages.
