I suppose that gave me the confidence to think I could do this on my own.’

While the business might be in its early days, the man himself has seen the prime central London market through several cycles, and through changes in how properties are marketed. ‘Clients will often say: “Don't show me a property that’s been on the internet or social media. Only show me something that’s off market,”’ he says. ‘But the phrase is often misunderstood. In my view, off market means something that is completely discreet and private.’
