Corporate body language is important, says Gavin Davis. ‘There’s often a mismatch between the walk and the talk.’ Davis seeks to address any such imbalance by looking at three things: ‘Behaviour, language and engagement.’

Davis, former director of corporate communications and campaigns at Sky, founded Nepean in 2019. The firm provides reputation management to UHNW private clients, corporates and providers of private capital.

He tells Spear’s that although the firm’s success has led to growth, the ‘offering is very much focused on being independent and boutique’.

Davis draws on a career that has spanned corporate and financial comms in the City, as well as work with organisations from the world of luxury such as Walpole and the Savile Row Bespoke Association. ‘I lead the business,’ he says, ‘but I’m also there working with clients; they get senior advice.’
