Spear’s Review

Jonathan Syrett, a self-proclaimed ‘Englishman from Mallorca’, is a yachting and brokerage consultant at Hamilton Marine.

Drawing upon four decades of experience in the industry, including 33 years at Camper & Nicholsons, Syrett accompanies his clients on their ownership journey, providing guidance and advice, and sourcing everything from entry-level craft all the way through to yachts for some of the world’s wealthiest individuals.

He has extensive experience of dealing with UHNWs and their specific needs; while teaching windsurfing in Spain as a young man, for example, he happened to coach both young Prince Felipe (now King Felipe) and his father, then King Juan Carlos.

In 2022, Hamilton Marine expanded to the US, opening an office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
